I can see a lot of people not checking as much since it's been a few weeks and fomo probably died a bit. All of the drama over drivers, connectors, and so on might have helped it stay longer too.
I mean I don't personally count it like that. I count it as being in stock for like 20 seconds, 10 for each drop on launch, lol.It sold out 10x faster than launch dayas they trickled them out that day
but hopefully more drops for people that need one.
Would expect the queues to start moving in the next couple of weeks… at least that’s what I’m hoping for anyway. You’d hope that they get more more than 41 units in the first proper shipment after Chinese new year ends… but we’ll have to wait and see. I’m at position 16 for mine but Aorus Master.Still 41 in the Suprim queue here… no ETA.
Will bail if other models start coming in stock sooner / prices go down etc.
Huuurgn the FE urge is strong…
Depends how you're getting the link. Some people are getting it direct from the API which is quicker than waiting for the website to update. Waiting for the website(or any alert using the website) means you're relying on luck, since you can get cached in a way you won't see it quick enough.I clicked on the Add to Basket button as soon as I got the alert.. still couldn't buy one even though a couple people got it by randomly checking the website. How is that possible?
I guess back to wait until the 20th or even March..

As I said, it's luck. If they managed to refresh right at the time the API updated, and they weren't getting cached or sent to a different website server that hadn't been updated then it's still possible to get it manually. It's just more of a dice roll.Ah, makes sense. So we should click right from the API link to improve the odds.
Still, how did those two guys just manage to get it by randomly checking the website?
The API is only checking every 30 seconds. Maybe they got lucky with the timing and managed to get in before it?Ah, makes sense. So we should click right from the API link to improve the odds.

Apparently nVidia give you 15 mins to checkout once it's in your basket - so plenty of time to get through the checkout etcYeah that's gotta be it.
I'm tempted to build my own bot that adds the card to basket and calls my phone number at this point, will do this over the weekend...
