NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

And I'm showing it as still there as of 7 minutes later. Maybe people are starting to wise up?

These mickey mouse resellers need to realize they serve one primary purpose: sell and distrubute product to the consumer. They are not
5090 Tuf which was an rrp card last Gen is been sold for £3120 right now elsewhere. Does anyone see +£1000 worth of improvements build quality wise between gens? Lol.

That's the most rhetorical question I've seen in a while.

I think OC has got it right to combat the scalpers, price it high so that they earn hardly any profit. Then allow stock to build up, because no one is buying (including the scalpers), then prices will drop to generate more sales.

Looks like Palit just offered another batch of direct Gamerock 5090 pre-orders at a competitor, these ones with a delivery date a week later than the previous batch. Wonder if they're releasing week-by-week tranches?

I appreaciate we're on an OC forum, but that's a wild rose tinted take on their pricing.

Non OC? I am in the same queue at no. 34. Let us know if they hit you with an email to pay the increased price (preorder prices increased on 18 Feb).

I know, as I got my preorder in on 17 Feb at the old price.
Yeah it's the non OC one i'm waiting on ill update here once I get an email, pre-ordered on 6th Feb I don't expect an increase but never know,

Except OCUK posted up saying they were going to price cards at like £9999, but give forum members a discount code to make it the "normal" price to stop scalpers getting all the cards. Instead they've just pre-scalped the prices so that both scalpers and regular customers lose out, but the company makes extra profit off both.

Yep :-)

Palit Game Rock in my basket just now for £2190. Prices are starting to come down. Another month / 6 weeks and we should be good.
Saw that. I'm, holding out a little longer.

I know people of knocked the 5080 but it's been fine thus far.

Not far behind you, am 44 for the suprim. Hoping some stock comes fairly soon, where did you hear first ones in queue are expected early march?

I recently got an odyssey neo g8 4k 240hz second hand, and my 3090 struggles to hit 100fps in most games:o Would be higher but need to set a fps cap for some games due to it causing OBS to come to a crawl.

See @gotenson5 ‘s post here :)

Inno3D 5090 back up at OC at reseller-scalped price.
I came so very, very close to buying as I had it in my basket and I really like my Inno3D 4090. But no, not paying that price for what's fairly close to a reference design.

Edit: Oooops, tweaked "5090" to "4090".
