NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Ah okay thank you. When it comes to ordering is it simply 1 card per order or could I order for example the 5090 and 5070 together? My brother is running a 3060 and is due an upgrade as his system is a good amount of years old

Gibbo did mention 1 per address but I am not sure if he meant. 1 5090 or 1 5xxx series per address

I believe its one per type rather than one per order i.e. one 5090 and one 5070. Mainly its to stop resellers i.e. buying a couple dozen then sticking them on facebook for twice the price when they inevitably sell out almost immediately

Do you guys have a figure you won't pay above.. my 4090 Aurous Master was like £2370 from here.. so assuming these 5090s are going to be around the £2.7-3K range.. As much as I love GPUs tempted to actually go for the FE if the scalpers don't crash it like they did last time

If the prices are above +200 for partner models I'd happily just wait for the fe to come back in stock if I don't get one launch day.

Is that the price you paid at 4090 launch? It’s very high… £500 more than what I paid.

If they are that inflated at launch I’ll just wait.

I don’t mind paying for the 5090, but I’m out for early adopter inflation.

Yeah it was the launch madness when the website went to a crawl heh. I wish forum people would get an early access page to order before the general population, but probably too hard to implement.

Cool, thanks for confirming.

Hmm - will prepare to buy and see what the price is… but going to be very cautious against overspend. I’ll possibly get carried away in the moment… probably :)

I loved the 4090 FE even though it ran hotter and a bit louder than AIB's. I hated the 3080ti FE so freaking loud. I love chonky graphics cards and especially liked the 4090 FE chonkiness as it short and phat AF...kinda like me :(

:P
I love overbuilt cards, the bigger the better. My card is so massive, the fans only turn on during heavy gaming and even then it's at a low RPM, I've never heard them.

Good point this, turned on the 4090 this morning and timespy to warm the mancave up, and the fans didn't come on till the 3rd run hah

If asking Googles Gemini is anything to go by, it says the Astral 5090 its £2,959.99 on the Asus estore, couldn't verify this looking myself though.

I think that’s the price of the 4090 ROG Matrix they have on there.

That’s the absolute top end for what I’d expect a new ASUS liquid cooled card to launch at.

Edit: interestingly, the ROG Strix liquid cooled 4090 is listed on the ASUS website as £1,999. Which I think suggests the Matrix pricing was obscenely high for what it was.

Has this been confirmed? I'm curious how they will do it, just kick those people out the queue and bump everyone else up kind of thing?
