NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

I honestly don't think there were any 5090 AIB cards anywhere, at all.

People not at physical locations did get an FE online however.
Not many though to be fair. I've seen single digit number of people saying they managed to get a 5090 fe.

Hoping the estimated May delivery dates are just an estimate and they'll get them out quicker to you guys who've preordered once production ramps up after the Lunar New Year period.
I for one am unwilling to hand over £2.5k and possibly not get a GPU till May lol, will wait and see what happens over the next few weeks

I was keeping an eye on things here and other websites at 2pm and it still amazes me how in this day and age websites can't handle heavy traffic and how scalpers/bots are able to bypass checks.

Hope everyone gets their cards soon and hopefully more stock sooner rather than later for those waiting.

From what I saw yesterday - and I had a lot of browser windows open - there was only one website that couldn't handle the traffic. A couple of the others got a little slow, but ultimately stood up.

The scalpers/bots thing has been an arms race for years and, unfortunately, the scumbags always seem to be ahead in it when a big launch comes around. Or did they struggle a bit with the 4000 series? I forget.

Aside from the FE, anyone that was dead keen on getting a 50 series should have at least been able to join a queue… the same queue as the scalpers.

In which case, the only people paying scalper prices will be whales that have absolutely zero regard for money… and there aren’t many of those.

So with the FE cards on nvidia website, is that it now? Or will they be likely to open up more stock each day?

It will be like last time you need to keep checking daily. Then blink and they are gone.
