September 1st sees the much-anticipated release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on both consoles and PC. It's set to be Hideo Kojima's final Metal Gear outing and if you're planning on playing on PC then you're in for the best version of all. The PC edition of the game boasts a slew of enticing features including larger resolutions, Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR), the possibility of frame uncaps and even the ability to play the game on an NVIDIA SHIELD device via its support for NVIDIA GameStream.

Man this looks good and hopefully runs well on all systems, regardless of GPU.

looks very good but I think there is a little too much video compression, but still cant think why they have used keith instead of david just cant used to that voice :(

Wonder if it will be vendor neutral or if it will have Gameworks features in it.

Same here, Just doesn't go with him at all, Love Kiefer as an actor but it doesn't go with the role.

Some stuttering going on there. The audio continued but the video just stopped few times. And too much compression there even made 4k look meh... Youtube needs to sort out this compression used. i remember 4k when it first hit youtube it looked amazing now looks meh...
Ground zero was rly good play though it was short and i was impressed visually and performance wise. I just hope gameworks is not going to have a bad effect on this game and its all optimised nice like ground zero!

I've only done MGS1 and 2 - kinda lost interest after that (aside MGR, which was awesome). Need to do 3 and 4 before 5 you think?

I completed MGS 1 and got halfway through MGS 2 and not played any of them since, so will be good to have one on PC instead of console for me. Youtube compression can be a killer but you get a good look at what to expect. I will deffo get this.

Am i the only one that's not impressed by the visuals? I loved MG1-MG3, but after that they've just lost the plot.

Strange that I can't see any 4K option in that video. 1080P60 is the max.

Also I think the cutscenes are far below something like The Order on PS4. Looks too 'clean' with no atmosphere and dead lighting. Hardly cutting edge imo.
There are obvious polygon edges visible which means it's not high on polygon count. e,g The red hats on the guys, The womans boobs, and Snakes eye patch.
No matter how high the resolution it can't make up for low polygons.

Wow that was cringe worthy... the shaders were kind of nice but as above everything else felt flat and static both aesthetics and emotionally and the writing/directing of that cutscene... ouch.
