Like Spotlight is the default as it has that little square next to it, its also the same on another part of the dashboard (forgot where) But the default slide has a little square next to it. I was just wondering if their was anyway to change it? As I would rather see my gamertag rather than being stuffed with spam about mirrors-edge every time I go to dashboard.

If anyone figures out how to remove Spotlight or not make it the default, let me know. One of the tabs was removable (I got a prompt to remove it). Spotlight and Inside Xbox need to be removable really as hey are just advertising crap.

In case you didn't know RT toggles you between Spotlight and My Xbox. (I assumed it toggled between My Xbox and the second option was user selectable, but it seems to be locked at Spotlight).

Ah well that's fair enough then.

I'd rather have sharper textures and text at the disadvantage of a border. :)
 
just updated mine, i love it already. much more sleek and responsive!
my only problem is 1680x1050 wont work properly on my monitor, even though that is its native res :/

Mines a windows live one and its working on the new dashboard? Try loading up windows live and changing the gamerpicture using that. Mines very unique too :p
 
My only two gripes so far are not having the 'My Xbox' page as the default and exiting a game to dashboard when it's installed to HDD takes longer.

Agree with the default 'My Xbox' thing, pretty annoying.

Haven't noticed any difference exiting to the dash though, but I've only got GOW2 installed.

Give it a try, it spins the drive up and reads the disc before it exists to dash, no big deal really but I noticed it straight away.

I did notice it spins up the drive (couldn't understand why as I had been playing from HDD). Didn't notice it taking longer with GOW2 either tbh.

Midnight Club: LA is acting weird since installed to the HDD. When hitting start or the guide button, the game video freezes and the audio repeats whatever sounds are playing, music continues, then after a few seconds the game pauses/guide appears. Similar delay when going back to the game.
