I get some horrid horizontal lines across the whole of the screen, expecially noticeable in Mirror's Edge with all the white. I tried it back at the res I had it on and the lines disappeared, such a long time waiting for 16:10 support, and such a disappointment.
Using a official VGA lead aswell.

I've already mentioned this. Tis annoying but I can live with it.
i hate the install to HDD feature... its making me want to buy the 120Gb HDD even more now
i pre-ordered the 60gb start kit which should be enough for me. hopefully i'll sell my 20gb drive to make some money back
Which is illegal, so well done. I would suggest dropping your line of posting just now, as you're only digging yourself a deeper hole. Not something all that clever for a noob to do.

Nooo, all they mean is you can't put your hard-drive onto another xbox and use the same install. You can still use your copy of the game anywhere you want, but if you put your harddrive on a new xbox you will have to re-install the game.

Nope, there are no log-in boxes. They must be updating it.
Anyone managed to watch any avi's on the Xbox media player (not windows media center)?
It says to download an update when I try to play some and then it comes up with an error code.

Hmm ppl are saying different screen res, is that using a VGA cable? as i just get the same old thing thru HDMi, 720p or 1080i, kind of off topic though but i have a question whats that standard, intermidiate and expanded in the screen section, i have it on expanded at the moment.

just spent AGES deleting all my **** so I can have Fifa 09 and Assassins Creed installed on my 20GB HD
I usually only play 2 games at any times (not at exactely the same time of course) so thats fine for me

I noticed it was there when I went home 12ish but when I tried to look at one of my friends status something came up about a new EULA and when I pressed Accept it kicked up a Page Not Found error.

Installing a game now. My drive sounds noiser than ever. Sounds like a jet. lol The Disc must spin real fast while installing a game.
Xbox feels like a real media center now rather than just a games console.
Have to say im fair pleased with the update, though i was expecting the guide to be a bit quicker than it is but its still more functional that the previous one.
