O2 data problems

Been down all morning for me and only just found out after starting lunch..

At least I have music stored on my phone (4G is spotty where I sit at work so Spotify isn't always possible).

I'm on O2 as well. Atleast I have my works Wifi, which works most of the time. Luckily I don't really need data for the rest of the day, so hopefully it will be up and running by tomorrow.

Yeah i've just read that now i've got into work. Really annoying when you don't have Spotify for your commute!

Yeah mine's been down all day too, and this was EXACTLY the only time I was annoyed by it not working :p

I'd hoped I'd downloaded a playlist or two to my phone for offline play but obviously not - had to listen to the radio.

I've not had data all day
Voice was patchy not connecting and people saying they couldn't get through etc, I have lost all connections now 'Emergency Calls Only' is displaying on my phone.

Been on "No Service" for the last hour now, few minutes of voice signal in between but not much. So now totally down basically.

The network issue we are currently experiencing remains a top priority for us and we are working as quickly as possible to fix the issues.

All O2 technical teams are working closely with one of our third party suppliers who has identified a global software issue in their system which has impacted data services. As a result of this incident, we are experiencing a high demand on our network which means some customers may have issues making and receiving voice calls.

We believe other mobile operators around the world are also affected.

We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience.

Eleven hours and counting....

Yea this is taking a lot longer to sort than I had thought it would, hope I get 1 days worth of credit back, could do with a quid :D

Im on sky and its been down all day, not just data but mobile calls or texts frequently going out. Emergency calls only.

These where two comments that made me laugh this morning... not only could people not get their data a bus service use phones to pay. When people tried to travel with a ticket they purchased digitally they couldn’t travel because their phone was their pass and there was no offline mode. This was Kent area I believe.

I also noticed another post about people couldn’t take card transactions on their mobile payments as their business had no offline method of payments.

These where both posts on twitter today.
