Oblivion running on CryEngine 2

They could import the models just fine I'd guess.

The way he has done it is import the Oblivion models in to 3dMax and then into the sandbox editor. It seems Crytek were not happy that he had done it and asked him not to release the mod as It's obviously ripping off Bethesda.

Why do I suddenly feel like some Hovis?

There is one crescendo in the soundtrack, which comes out of nowhere! Then it goes back to quiet... Kinda weird!

Looks wicked. I wonder how hard it would be to put oblivion ( the whole thing ) into the cryengine, and make it playable... :p ( With nano suit )

Nice, really is a fantastic engine.

Shame it makes my system do one of two things though.

A.) Curl up in a ball and whimper in the corner.
B.) Make an Antec900 shaped hole in the wall and run off down the street crying.

I'd love to play Crysis, I just don't feel that a game, no matter how good it is, warrants a £500 (at least) investment.

Not being a little cynical perhaps? Cant remember your rig details from other posts... but im running it more than happily on an 8800GT, which these days is just a shade over the ton mark. Surely you can splash out? :p

the gamebryo engine or what ever they used in oblivion is so very poor

i hope they are using something else for fallout

oblivion would be near perfect if they used a better engine in the first place
