So ocuk fobbed off a customer that was unhappy with the service ocuk provide.

Excellent

What makes you think he / she was fobbed off? The customer could have been acting unreasonably - surely the OP wouldn't post in the first place if this wasn't true?

Sherlock can only assume the guy didn't go in the shop to complain for no reason

But the reason maybe the fault of the customer or if it was overclockers fault, been rectified perfectly fine, as suggested by the OP in the first place?

Don't worry, just keep bashing though.

WELL ACTUALLY,

I like to thank the person who served me on saturday.
My bill was £294 and I handed over £300 in £20 notes.
He counted it while my interest was somewhere else and then turned and said 'You've give me £20 too much' and handed it back.
Phil was there so give that man a tap on the back.

The amount of people who complain about their own software problems causing their new hardware not to work is high in PC shops. People often don't realise that just because the item doesn't work on their ****-infested PC doesn't mean it's not 'fit for purpose'. In fact, I really hate it when people start demanding a refund as it's 'not fit for purpose' just because of their own incompetence and that they're 'going to tell trading standards' as if it's some sort of threat or bargaining chip against the retailer. They'll get nowhere if it's their own fault.

Turned into a bit of a rant didn't it. I have no idea if that was what this is about, probably not considering most OcUK customers have a bit more sense than that (I hope!).

True, it could be either. The op gives us lots of information but nothing about the actual incident :o
