OCD, what's yours?

That annoys me no end as well, no idea why! Also if the quick start bar is miles away from the last icon, it has to be moved close before locking it.

And the Desktop icons in the wrong place

When I was young I used to have to wash my hands a lot and a few little things like that. I found if you just stop doing it and notice how you don't die then its not toooo hard to stop (it is pretty hard lol).

I agree, when I was young I used to plug everything out and switch everything off before bed, then recheck 5 or 6 times, counting the steps on the stairs even tho I knew how many there were, counting car lights going by my window and not being able to sleep until a certain number have went by, stuffing the space under my bed to prevent monsters, etc. Then I moved to my aunts farm for the summer and found I was to nervous to go wandering around her house at night plugging stuff out. After realising that the house didn't burn down and the world didn't end over night I began to get rid of the rest of my annoyances, haven't had any problems since. I think if you just refuse to do a couple of these things for a while, the rest will eventually lose thier pull, maybe it only works when your young tho?

Yes, and if you actually hide the last icon it appears perfectly when you re-lock, leaving the smallest gap.

My computer has to be the first icon on the desktop (top left) and it has to be the proper link, not a shortcut. Also you must remove the words "shortcut to" etc.

Failure to follow these rules will result in me burning your house down before burning myself down.

If I'm leaving a building and I'm the last one out, I will go round and check that all lights are off and all doors/windows are shut. Sounds normal but I'll double check all of these things about 4 times and I still wont be completely happy when I leave. I'll literally stare at lightbulbs sometimes to make sure they are compeltely off. Maybe some sort of paranoia that if I leave anything on, the place will burn to the ground :o

At a red traffic light I have to reselect 1st gear many times to ensure I am ready to go.

I spend hours checking back and forward through forums, dating sites and emails even when there have been no updates or matters of interest. It almost feels like one time when I click my life will be complete.

With me it's how things should be eaten. I have to analyse the meal to work out the order things should be eaten. Parts of the meal should be separated as much as possible.

e.g when eating pasta with mushroom and tomato sauce I will first eat all the pasta individually trying to remove all the sauce. Then I will separate the mushroom bits from the sauce and eat them. Then I will eat the sauce. Sometimes it takes me a while to finish meals. If I eat a burger I have to separate all the layers and eat them individually.

I try and avoid mars bars because it becomes messy!

I need to leave everything to the last minute, buying things I need/paying bills etc, for no reason, even if I get up in plenty of time for work I end up fannying about 'til I'm almost late

Can't eat different foods at the same time, have to separate them and eat them one at a time... and I can't stand it when foods touch... Reallllly cannot stand it. Should see me with a Meat Feast Pizza.... I peck off the bits and eat them one at a time, until I get the Cheese and Tomato left... which I still have trouble with.

Terrible times, terrible :p

Getting out of the car, pressing the button twice to lock the doors, then thinking "have I locked the doors" and pressing it a few more times to double check they're locked :S

Oh and my socks have to be pulled up to it's maximum strech... Or my feet hurt. Not really it feels uncomfortable.

No matter how hard you try, your food will ALWAYS be touching. When it's in your stomach it's all mixed up. :D

I've always been curious about how such habits develop.
