That's a good idea...main problem for me is getting up at six!

Perfect time for me I'll be turning the central heating off and running some electric heaters.
Might get a rice pudding in the oven as well.
 
Have octopus confirmed how they are handling OI slots and if they count towards your baseline or not?

I’ve been getting a few OI slots recently which fall into this period and I don’t want to be paying for high rate grid power when I don’t need to because I’ve had a fair bit over the last couple of weeks at 7p

I'd steer clear in that case. Not worth the risk.
 
Had another email, it’s also free from 09:00 to 12:00 today. That’s effectively five hours free.
 
Yeah PU is 9-12am

Already going to have a hot water tank heated with elec, batts full, 2x fan heaters on, washing load done and DW almost complete by 9am
What am I going to do between 9-12!

Could have stayed in bed, only noticed the email from Pete (<3 pete btw ;) ) when I got up to start everything!

I know, a cake, we have a cake mix in the cupboard!
And I guess a long hot shower and reheat the water!
 
I'd really struggle to use five hours worth, supposed to be sunny today as well, not something I need to think about anyway.

39ish kWh used in the two hours. Would have broken 40 but one of my car chargers was throttling for the 100A main fuse.

did ok this morning. not as well as some of you guys. but with everything charging, tumble drier, washing machine and topping off house battery managed around 14kwh.
I need to check to be certain but I think.i will get more than I should as well as I think they auto refund the full price of the electricity however I did all the above in an intelligent octopus slot.
I checked and we are not at UK's best for wind gen....but still over 20gwh and we were exporting extra abroad for a while as well
