I'm surprised by how much the dishwasher consumed - that was timed for 1am ISH. No idea what is driving consumption at 3am lol.

Edit: turns out it is the dishwasher driving the baseline increase (0.26 at midnight onwards).

Nuts how long it stays on for and consumes.

They run the fans for a long time afterwards to dry the dishes.

How do you get the data showing in the app so fast? It takes about 24 hours for my app to update with yesterday's usage.

It shows up live on my app as I use the power, the top bar click on "live" for the real time usage, then every half hour it updates the daily readings. (octopus mobile app)

edit,.... just remembered I have the little pink square box from Octopus for live readings, can't remember what they call it, (anyone can get one)

I don't have that, mine only has options for day, week, month. This is octopus app as well.

Anyone else confirm yes/no on this?

Do you have an octopus mini?? If not you wont get live data

7-9 I managed to draw 13.3kwh from grid, 12 of that went into battery.

Not all smart meters work with the little pink thing. @dymetrie has one that doesn’t work but I can’t remember which meter he has. When I requested one, it came quite quickly so if you asked for one months ago and still haven’t got it, your meter may not be compatible.

I did about 20kW during the two sessions today with fan heaters, washing machine, etc etc.

Up watching the F1 so rinsed it for all its worth! Washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, 3kW oil radiator, charged the camping battery, 2x ryobi bateries, and had the progecter on for the F1
