OcUK Cinebench R15 benchmark thread

:D
I've got some decent CL6 ram, what helps ;)
It's times like now, when its getting hotter i really really regret selling my chiller. Converted my shed into a bench room now though :D

Only thing i'm missing is QDCs, the never seem to come up second hand so need to shell out a few quid so i can change graphics card, blocks quickly. In the process of collecting hardware though, getting myself some decent clocking chips :) Will be going for points when X99 comes out, just a bit of fun atm though :p
Biggest shame is not enough time on the weekends when i work most of them :(
I know what you mean about time things. I work on Saturdays which is a bit annoying, but it pays for all my fuel and a bit extra. Cl6 ram is nice to have, i havent had any ram that will do better than cl8@1600mhz yet. A chiller or water would be nice as im on air at the moment, which means i have to stay up till 2/3am to get decent temps. My main problem is money rather than time. I keep to a strict budget, so that i wont have to live at home and drive a suzuki alto the rest of my life :P . X99 is looking promising though if intel sort the problems that they have had with 1150 haswells out.
A work colleague run cinebench on the server he installed recently:

Sorry about the size. It's a dual xeon e5 2697 v2 (dual 12x core with HT) 1u server. mmmm parallel processing[/QUOTE]
That is quite epic on the multi thread score. Bit amd like in the single thread though due to the lack of clockspeed. If we could still oc xeons, that could be a monster at 4ghz . I wouldn't want to think what you would need to cool them at that speed.

Working weekends pays for my hardware :D
I also no longer have cars or motorbikes, ride a pushbike to work! :D So that frees up funds that would otherwise be spent on fuel, insurance, tax blah blah :)

Keep seeing bikes zooming by me in my lorry what's really making me want to go out any buy one, holding out though!! :p

Im waiting to see what intels upcoming 4790k is like, supposed to have improved TIM to help with cooling. Though it's still not confirmed wether they will work in Z87 boards. If they do ill probably sell the chip in sig and move to this. Cant really afford a new cpu and mobo at present, besides i like this current formula board quite a lot.

you should have kept it

Yeah i know, i miss all my bikes/cars i've owned tbh. Will no doubt end up getting something before the summer ends though, but given the choice of X99 and a 4k monitor or a little run about bike, i'd probably choose the hardware ;)

I live just over a mile from work, and have zero social life. I really have no need for any form of transport other than my push bike :( Tis a nice push bike though :D

borrowed a mates 3570k. he has a d3h and a 212 evo. they weren't quite using it to its full potential, so i stuck it in the Mpower for a run. :D
