As others have said, this is less about what car you bring and more about the social aspect (with a shared interest of things that go vroom vroom). Everyone is welcome :) Except cyclists, they're slow and the Lycra scares me...

I'm now a definite, and I hope I'll be bringing a new car too - will be collecting on Saturday morning if all goes to plan.

I reported via my insurer (Direct Line) Sunday 24/01 who transferred me directly to their approved installer Auto glass. My rear windscreen had to be ordered directly from BMW Germany as I did not want generic. My insurer approved within 24 hours. Tuesday 26/01/2015 received a call from Autoglass confiming delivery from Germany BMW to UK would be 5/02 and fitting for 06/02.

I have found their service very good comunication wise. They also sent me an email with relevant reference numbers including a link to online portal confirming fitting time (90-120 minutes, date and time between 8-11am) Online portal also allows me to rebook alternative fitting date if required.

So far my experience has been positive, albeit I am also sure the service provision from Autoglass is further reinforced via my insurer Direct Line Car Insurance.

Could still be coming :) Although car will be filthy, but as said, it's about the people, not the car. I do have some things to tend to in the morning, but should be able to head on over for 12pm. Will confirm on Friday.
