Ok I'll get the daft question out of the way seen as everyone else is showing some restraint
Will this be ok to play minecraft and solitaire?

Will this be ok to play minecraft ...?
I can't remember how long is was before production was stopped of DDR2, but I woudn't be surprised to see it go up in price, especially when it comes nearer to christmas.passey89 said:hopefully DDR3 will drop soon with DDR4 comming out.
Time to max out the RAM![]()
Doubt this DDR4 will make much difference to gaming, maybe 1% would be surprised it's more than 3% tops.

Yes we all have, we have the new desktop and xeon based stuff in house. But that is all we can say.

I'm about to look at an Xeon rig for virtualisation and standard stuff, sounds like I should hold...
Time to sell kit and live off work laptop.... Mmm
Any new workstation bundles?
This is where the real interest will be. I want pricing for a 5960X overclocked to 3.5/3.6/3.8ghz ideally, and with 32GB or 64GB ram. A nice, stable O/Cd bundle like the good old 3930k bundles I'm currently using.

In conclusion DDR4 Memory will not be much, if any more expensive than DDR3 Memory at launch, with prices of £55.99 for an 8GB kit and £111.99 for an 16GB kit, which for 2133MHz ram is not bad, especially given it is low power DDR4 memory.
