1) Sort the MM out. As stated by many other posters. By any means possible. eg. been registerd longer than 3month / having more than 250 posts minimum along with having a certain post per day minimum requirement set.
2) Some new avatars related to the current ones wouldnt be a miss
3) Xmas smileys when xmas comes along (Even the avatars that some guy made a while back. They lookd pretty good. The thread seems to pop up every year around exmas time)
Smaller things
4) Allow you to quote more than one person at a time, insted of having to do it manually.
5) Ability to close your own threads, just like you can in the MM
6) Have a Spellchecker. Will stop all these grammar nazis knit picking 24/7.
7) Ability to make your own poll.

I think we are getting a bit carried away now. Next you'll be starting your own OcUK TV Station

Spelling and Grammar are two different things

If you want a spell checker, just install Firefox... it does it perfectly and is, in my opinion, a faster browser too.

OK, these are my thoughts right now.

1 - A special avatar or two for those with 5,000 and 10,000 posts.
2 - Bring back Underbosses.
3 - A few more Dons.
4 - More transparent moderating.
5 - Use built-in infraction facility.
6 - Actively encourage meets and maybe even contribute to beer bill/other costs.
7 - Increasing signature size to 25KB.
8 - Letting some users start polls (maybe 5K+ posters).
9 - Inviting certain banned members back who haven't burnt their bridges.

There are others but that was a quick 5 minute think.

Im all for not sharing where and how to mod consoles and get games warez etc..

But discussing the actual game despite its source should be allowed.

No. If you don't click on anything for ~20mins it treats it as a new session.

I.e.

I haven't stopped visiting since 5:15. It makes it harder going through forums seeing what new posts and going directly to them. Maybe it is just me.

There is a plugin that does that, I'll find a linky later
The spell checker is exactly like MS Word's - it underlines invalid words in red, you right click them, and it gives you a range of words to choose from.

Change in moderation. The Mods should not see themselves as 'better' than the regular posters. It is the regular posters that make this forum. Back in the day, a lot, if not most, of the Don's were a bit power hungry.

My word! that was a long read.

I say keep the forums basically the same, family readable; they are such a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other **** that's around.

We don't need to filter swearing; just follow the rules/common sense, If people want to F and Blind to show that they're adults, go to one of the thousands of other places to do it.

Please don't reintroduce the "babe" type threads, all the pubescent youngsters get far too excited; my heart is not what it was either

Name and shame in "The Stocks" forum, the victims/villains are forbidden to post, even after their suspension.

Laptop forum maybe good idea.

Please NO animated sigs.
