I dont know if its been mentioned in this thread, but i think a lifting of the hardline no mentioning of competitors should be looked at.
I have no problem (i am sure most people are the same), about not talking about direct computer related competitors, but since you do not sell games, when in the context such as a bargain comes up, and people would like to share that information with others, I do not see that it would lose the company money by allowing this.
A lot of bad feeling in the console gaming forum was generated by the hardline ruling coming in, the staff would be in a better position to say if it actually affected the sales of your gaming consoles and peripherals, but im guessing you probably dont sell too many of these anyway, for no other reason than its not the place people go to look.
With that in mind, would you look at relaxing the rule in the console section? Perhaps there could be a thing added to posts if someone is posting a link, similar to the members market, just reminding people that overclockers do sell these things, and to have a look there before visiting another site, it can surely only be beneficial in the long run to the company.
