There were female posters who have been confused for men in the past (non female orientated signatures and names) but I don't see what there is to gain from making it known.

I just feel that having been here so long the male avatars feel a part of who I am here. I don't like change much I also don't see why there has to be male and female avatars. It's a theme and the male pictures are by far the best with the best characters from films and real life.

Usually I wouldn't like being portrayed as a man at all but with the sigs you can have what you like (within reason) so I don't feel the need to define my womanhood with an avatar.

Agree with you completely Jodie. If there were female ones i don't think i would use one, i rarely look at them anyway. It just seems pointless to me, you can define yourself as a woman in a sig if you really want.

I could suggest making it a "Portable Devices" sub-forum and merging Mobile Phones into it...?

As PDAs + Mobile phones are often merged in RL too...

o/t, if you can get hold of Joseph Pistone's aka Donnie Brasco 's book My Life In The Mafia it is a gripping read and a true story. He was not far off being nominated for being ' made ' by Dominic Napolitano aka Sonny Black. Contrary to the film, Donnie Brasco had closer ties with Sonny Black than with Lefty Ruggerio and Sonny Black was murdered in 1981 as a result of introducing Donnie to the mob.

Lefty ( played by Al pacino ) received 20 years on indictment for mob activity as a result of Joe Pistone's testimony. He refused to turn informant and was released in 1992.

Change the colour scheme or give users the option of a different colour, my boss thinks I spend too much time on 'that blue internet site' so if I can change it to white it would be great

Yeah, allowing us to have the option to change the color scheme ourself would be great.
I know you can do it manually in firefox, but inbuilt into the vb forum would be good

Maybe if meets are going to become a more common occurrence, there could be a meet calender sticky. Means people can have a look see what is upcoming and decide what dates are good to plan their own meet.
