OCUK founder Spie passes away

RIP Spie.

Was only commenting to a mate how long we'd been members on here. 15-16 years now. Still one of the first tabs I open when I do my daily browsing. Left a great legacy, and best wishes to the family.

Tragic news. RIP Spie.

What you've created and the people you've brought together is something special.

I'm sat here feeling rather shocked by the sad news of Mark's passing and struggling a bit for what to say.

Unfortunately I only ever met him at the 10th Anniversary bash, where he seemed larger than life, and will forever be grateful to him for his creation of my online home for the past 18 years.
He has left an impressive legacy in the business he built up, and I remember how excited and happy he was when he met Claire, and how proud and happy he was whenever he spoke of his family.

My sincere condolences to Aaron, Nathan, Emma and Claire, my thoughts are with you.

RIP Spie. Anyone who has ever used either the OcUK forums or the shop has a lot to thank Spie for. He made OcUK what it is and that is one heck of a legacy.

My thoughts to his family and many friends who knew him so well. :(

Holy Smokes Naith my deepest sympathies. This is such a special place due to his efforts. Please send condolences to the rest of your family.
Andi.

I worked for Mark for several years when I first started at OCUK in 2009 and when I heard the news early this morning I was very saddened and shocked.

Mark was a great man and what he achieved in life was fantastic, even after OCUK I have always kept in touch with him and it was only last week when i last spoke to him too, this has come as a total shock. :(

I also worked with both of his boys Nath and Aaron and they are great lads so all my thoughts are with them and his family, I have already messaged you both so if you need anything you know where I am.

I really dont know what else to say as its such a sad time but rest in peace Mark Proudfoot, you will be missed.

Best Regards

Bailey
