I was getting ready to say, no, it's arrived after all, because I installed the DPD app and that showed he was now in my area, on delivery 71, and I was delivery 72. But then the tracker showed him driving to three different locations and then, just as he was heading back to here, updated to say, "Sorry we missed you. Your driver won't be back today, but we'll be back Mon 10 March with your parcel."i bet hes got it on ebay already![]()
cex offering £195 expect them to get loads of cards over the next week so prices might dropMy Reaper was delivered just before 0900 this morning.
Not fussed about it being the most basic model as a 9070XT is a 9070XT to me.
My 3060ti FE has been great but I'll sell it on next week.

They take it from you, test it on their side and then will call you to confirm it's the value you were quoted or it might be less if they find fault.Just out of interest, what was the process with it once in there?

ROFL. Are you serious McPee?. Been checking ebay and there are hundreds of scalpers selling their scalped 9070XT gfx cards. At leas half of them saying purchased from OCUK. Have invoice. Also, most of them have many units of 9070XT from multiple retailers, Why did ocuk and other retailers sell to scalpers and not genuine pc gamers?. Something strange going on. If you disagree then feel free to debate with me, but please none of this keyboard warrior nonsense like you did with canopus. Very disrespectful.
There is no price fixing taking place.
Even after months of stockpiling, initial demand for 9070-series cards exceeds initial supply.
Per the law of supply & demand, demand falls as prices rise, and prices will settle where supply and demand intersect. As nobody has any patience and everybody has to have the new shiny thing on day one, initial demand greatly exceeded initial supply. This drives prices up.
Fixing retail prices at MSRP wouldn't fix the problem. There would still be the same amount of supply of cards. And demand would still be the same (if anything, demand could be higher as the demand at £569 will be higher than at £629 or £679 and so on). All it would do is increase the upside for scalpers - the price they are buying cards for would be lower, and the price they are selling them for would remain the same.
The launch of these cards was already delayed by months, and this led to a stockpiling of supply. While it's uncomfortable to admit it, the problem here isn't the manufacturers, the retailers, or even the scalpers selling cards on eBay. It's us. It's this insatiable desire to have this new thing now.
