OcUK GUIDE TO ORDERING YOUR AMD 9070 GRAPHICS CARD TODAY AT 14:00

I was ready to press the checkout button but £658 is way above what I wanted to pay. If it was closer to £600 I'd have gone for it.

Yeah, I understand that. Guess I'll give it a few months and see what happens then.
Buying a GPU on day 1 is just a pure nightmare. I remember the days of trying to buy a 3070.

It's just the initial wave(s) as long as the stock keeps flowing at a high rate the demand will ease, but if it dries up either naturally or artificially (Nvidia style) then the prices could remain high I suppose.

I don't get people coming on here and moaning about the price and sounding really entitled. Unfortunately if demand is way higher than supply then prices go up until the two things balance, OcUK shouldn't be forced to sell at a low price and little margin when all the cards will sell out anyway.

If you don't want to pay £100 over msrp, then wait a few months until the demand drops.

most definitely getting worse as the years go by, but there are more people buying pc's these days then ever before and scalping etc a lot of people using these gpus to make money, how many youtubers where there back in for example 2005 making money from gaming :P

Hi there

Hope you all managed to grab a Sapphire 9070 XT Pulse, the several hundred we had lasted only 35 minutes but hopefully with the forum heads up, all those who wanted one have managed to get one. :)

We still have a few other XT's in stock on other OC models like PURE, Steel Legend, Taichi etc. but expect these to be gone by end of day, 9070 XT demand is real, superb card!

I don't think it's entitled to believe you should be able to get a new product for a reasonable price at launch without a massive headache. OcUK aren't the bad guys - just a symptom of the ****** up market - but it is a **** poor deal for PC gamers atm.
