OcUK H²Flo Liquid CPU Cooler - IN STOCK NOW! (now with benchmarks)

Hmm.. still tempted to get one. Just want to know if it is going to be any good for my Q6600 G0 at 3.6Ghz? (Compared to my push pull hyper 212 I have now, and then compared to a Titan Fenrir which I could get instead).

Just how exactly are you meant to mount the Sharkoon fan to this rad? These rubber bolts supplied don't seem to work, or I'm missing something..

I've got some long black bolts in the package, and some 30mm M4's, but I need these to attach the fan to the case?

EDIT: Got it. For anyone who has the same problem, you use the long black screws.

It was a mini-review done on site, where ordinary users test their (or borrowed) hardware:

http://www.benchmark.pl/mini-recenzje/Corsair_H80_-_ciecz_nie_dla_kazdego-4027.html

Here you are. Feel like others with no clue what those words mean ;-)
You've got some translators, have a fun with simple, word2word translations :)

P.S.
Start translating from the "CIEMNOŚĆ - co się stało" (it means DARKNESS - what happened ?). Use ISO-Latin-2 (8859-2) code page, if needed.

The reviewer didn't say the H80 damaged the motherboard as such.

What he did say was that by having the H80 in push-pull on the back of that case caused the power circuits to have no airflow at all. He had to remove the only case fan cooling the top left of the motherboard to fit it in.

He reckons that the motherboard overheated during the overclock because of that.

Also

£50 for the OCUK cooler without a fan now = £10 less than the Corsair branded version.

The exact same fan that the H60 uses costs £3.50 so you can get the OCUK version for £53.50 or the Corsair one for £60.

Just fitted the cooler. Quick note to people, it doesn't come with installation instructions.

Replacing the stock cooler, with one inlet and one rear exhaust fan, I was idling 38-44C.

Just fitted this and some IC diamond, and idle is at around 28C. Core 3 which has been my coolest core on both coolers just hit 14C on idle.

This is with a 2500k at stock by the way.

Running a quick prime test now, and the temperatures are 40-48C.

Not bad considering the TIM needs time to set in too.

how much lower is the temps on the ic dimond paste compared to the pre-applied paste this cooler? I have some mx-2 I bought in 2006/2007, how will that compare?

£38.99 to £49.99, 30% price increase in less than 3 days?

Was about to pull the trigger on one of these but I'm out now. Far too expensive now considering it doesn't come with a fan.

What happened guys?

Can't tell you sorry, I put the IC Diamond straight on after removing the paste off my processor and the preapplied paste of the cooler. I'd add about 3-5C approx? I don't really know, just thought I'd get some IC whilst I had the cooler off and everything.

I was was thinking about holding fire for the time being but gave in and ordered 1 yesterday at £36.99, got a few fans laying about so will test with those before looking at buy new ones/s if temp/noise isn't satisfactory :)

No interest from me at nearly £50 for what is basically only a non-branded H60, without a fan. Upto that point you guys were doing so well.

Question is, have you put it up higher, so you can later claim it was selling at a higher price, when it goes on sale? ;-)
