Did put in a request on forums to cancel my order but then finally got an email back from Asus that said there's a quiet mode via software that would keep the Strix quiet for me. So yeah i'll keep my pre-order and stop being so nervous, already updated request telling them not to cancel it :D

Before pre-ordering the 1080 Strix, I was considering going for a Gigabyte 980ti Extreme, as on auction sites they were anywhere from 350-450 which was a good deal. Though I was upgrading from an R9 390, so I thought I may aswell for the sake of it I'd get a 1080. To know that from their testing, the 1080 Strix is actually quieter than the 980ti Gigabyte, is somewhat reassuring.

Our 1080 range is now more than twice the size of our closest competitor, we have 44 different cards listed, yes I have added a lot of 1080 and 1070 to the range today, so be sure to check them out. The new Gigabyte Xtreme Premier Pack looks stunning and also has 4yr warranty. :)

Unfortunately you were awesome enough to honour the early accidentally low Strix price so I'm not giving up my place in that queue :p
