Yeah as the exchange rate was dropping during the week I could accept and understand ocuk increasing the prices as it dropped 3.4% so on a £600 card that is £20.

However since yesterday its bounced back 1.5% so cards today should be £9 cheaper than yesterday or only £11 more than before they first went up.

The G1 is now £30 to £40 more than first listing so its just a premium for having stock IMO.
 
Phoned up and changed my order.

Was waiting for an EVGA Hybrid, which we werent expecting till 1st July.

When i phoned up, the guy on the phone said that they were still listed as having some coming today, but it seemed strange, as all others had been pushed back..

Whilst on the phone, 2 Gigabyte G1s were available, so he swapped me to one of them.

Just waiting for the order to be sent now!
 
Looks liek just FE's left coming in. Gibbo, any chance of some MSI Seahawks coming in today to order? Competitor also says SH are due today so will throw my money where it lands first.

Update: Just got off the phone with OCUK. The only other card I want is the Asus Strix, but all them people are in the same situation and us EVGA FTW pre-orders. Si I'll just stay and wait it out for the FTW. If I cancel now I would still be in the same situation I'm in now. So I'll wait it out. Hope it's only at the most 2 more week? I'll never forget the 1080 fiasco.
 
Just got my notification - monitor, gfx and the extras have all been shipped and will be with me tomorrow. Looking forward to a long day of PC building - both my Fileserver and my desktop will get some major upgrades.

Can't wait. And excellent service from Overclockers as usual :)
 
What a shoddy website overclockers is. They have a terrible service.

P*ssed off with them at the moment, i had a preorder on the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW ACX 3.0 card which was meant to be sent out today. Been waiting since the morning for a despatch email, no updates whatsoever!! Emailed them, no reply! Then had to call in and wait for a good 10-15mins on the line.

The guy then tells me that nothing has arrived!! WTF! When was OC waiting to tell me this? In a month or two?! Really terrible service, probably some of the worst i have come across! What is worse the guy on the phone tells me that no payment has ever gone through for this order so nothing would have been posted anyway!! Shocking service from these guys.
I have no idea why there system failed and no payment went through, or how it works, but not informing the customer in advance is just plain crap service!

I had sold my old gpu waiting for tomorrow to receive the new card and now nothing is going to be turning up and i have nothing in my pc. Absolutely dreadful.

Delays is fine if they are not in OC hands, however communication is key and this company has absolutely no communication with its customers.

I'm in the same boat as you. It's not OCUK fault. Blame EVGA they gave the wrong dates to OCUK. The cards released in the states already, but not here:mad: We have to wait longer. I got really angry too mate, but theirs nothing to do about it atm. Unless you want the FE card? If you cancel now you'll still be in the same boat. Cool down and try to wait it out. That's what I'm doing.
