What a shoddy website overclockers is. They have a terrible service.

P*ssed off with them at the moment, i had a preorder on the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW ACX 3.0 card which was meant to be sent out today. Been waiting since the morning for a despatch email, no updates whatsoever!! Emailed them, no reply! Then had to call in and wait for a good 10-15mins on the line.

The guy then tells me that nothing has arrived!! WTF! When was OC waiting to tell me this? In a month or two?! Really terrible service, probably some of the worst i have come across! What is worse the guy on the phone tells me that no payment has ever gone through for this order so nothing would have been posted anyway!! Shocking service from these guys.
I have no idea why there system failed and no payment went through, or how it works, but not informing the customer in advance is just plain crap service!

I had sold my old gpu waiting for tomorrow to receive the new card and now nothing is going to be turning up and i have nothing in my pc. Absolutely dreadful.

Delays is fine if they are not in OC hands, however communication is key and this company has absolutely no communication with its customers.


FTW delays were announced on the forum a few days ago by both OcUK and EVGA and the website was updated to show the 1st July.

Updates are posted around the clock on the forum even out of office hours, sorry you feel the service is shoddy, but were doing the best we can and manufacturer delay is out of our hands. :)
 
I'm in the same boat as you. It's not OCUK fault. Blame EVGA they gave the wrong dates to OCUK. The cards released in the states already, but not here:mad: We have to wait longer. I got really angry too mate, but theirs nothing to do about it atm. Unless you want the FE card? If you cancel now you'll still be in the same boat. Cool down and try to wait it out. That's what I'm doing.

No. Blame NVIDIA for not supplying enough GPUs to board partners. ALL products are delayed, not just EVGA. NVIDIA is doing that to keep selling the founders cards at inflated prices.
 
I see MSI GTX 1080 Seahawk came in, but its the EK block version :(

surely its just a gaming X with an EK full cover...???

MSI gaming X = 630.00 + 100.00 for full cover block = 730.00

70 quid for an etching of a dragon???

No. There are several brands of custom cards coming through, which had we had a more honest assessment from EVGA in the first place some of us would either already have our cards or be at the front of the queue for the cards that are coming in today.

I swapped over yesterday, OCUK have confirmed they have stock of the one I've switched to but until its all booked in and dispatched I won't know if I was one of those or not - but seeing as I was 22nd in line for an FTW, I would definitely have been in the first batch for the card I have now ordered if I'd actually gone with my second choice in the first place.

I dont even think its Gaming X PCB, its single 8 pin so cant be.

the sea hawk with waterblock? its 6+8pin, same as the armor and GamingX
that price though! £200 for a waterblock!

That is very unfair. OCUK have tried to keep people informed, you are posting on a thread that is keeping us informed to complain you are not being informed!

The situation is not down to OCUK they are victims of the manufacturers and in turn it would seem everyone is being manipulated by Nvidia if anything.

If you are not happy go to another retailer but I would bet my bottom dollar you will find none of them give you more information than OCUK or treat their customers better.

How would that benefit Nvidia? The Founders Edition cards are still made by their partners. The chips are probably provided at the same price to all their partners for all their boards.

I disagree the communication from Gibbo and the rest of his team have been spot on, especially within the forums. Ben from EVGA has been updating the status.

News on the FTW has been all over this thread for weeks now, hence everyone changing their orders - which considering the posts has largely been excellent.

You should have received confirmation of your order being processed re. payment - that's down to you.

Frustrating as it is, but OcUK service is one of the best.
 
One of my two FTW's shipped to me, hopefully you guys aren't too far behind.

Your in the US. Europe haven't had any yet and Ben admitted we are likely 2-3 weeks from getting any when they originally said OCUK would be getting 50 on the 17th (today)... Ben dropped the bombshell a couple of days ago so quite a lot of us have jumped ship to other brands hoping we manage to get in to todays allotment.

But yeah, get it under water and let us know what it can do!?
