Sat waiting and hoping for Asus Strix dispatch notices right now

Wish OCUK had thrown emails about the delays but they are a lot more active on the forums than I had expected,Just means I live on the forums until dispatch and I feel I might not be alone in this.

Yeah that is not cool at all. I phoned CS again and they really have no idea what is going on with this. I ended the conversation none the wiser. I do know that all the GLH's that came in today have been allocated. Just seems like they have been allocated randomly. The chap in cs did agree though that my order was completed at 9.52am yesterday morning.

Must admit my impatience got the best of me while on the phone to customer services asking about the clown card and them having no idea if it would turn up today. Ended up folding for a palit 1080 founders, arrives tomorrow.

This also happened with the SC 1080's that were allocated earlier this week. I was 43rd in the queue, 50 were sent out and I missed the batch. I'm now sitting at 7th! Apparently there was an error with printing the stock allocation list - guess it's happened again.

According to customer services, none have come in, 'yet', today. Not holding hope. would have thought if they had come in with the rest this morning, that they'd have been booked in by now.

Thats easier said then done I'm afraid :mad: Hmm, I'm unsure maybe i should just go for the FE card and get it by tomorrow instead of waiting a further two weeks. However, i don't really want to sacrifice performance unless i knew it would not make too much difference!? If i went for a FE instead of the FTW card what would i loose out on? would the clock speeds make much difference especially for VR and 4K gaming on max settings? Lastly, which FE card would i choose?

Updates are posted around the clock on the forum even out of office hours, sorry you feel the service is shoddy, but were doing the best we can and manufacturer delay is out of our hands. :)

Not everyone has time to be visiting the forums to be finding out about delivery dates when they expect to receive the product. The only reason as to why i found this topic on the forum is because of the failure of the staff not providing updates and communicating at all to their customers via email. Also you are wrong, the website was not updated to show 1st july, i was on the website yesterday when it still showed 17th July. 1st of July date was only updated on the site today.

The situation is not down to OCUK they are victims of the manufacturers and in turn it would seem everyone is being manipulated by Nvidia if anything.

If you are not happy go to another retailer but I would bet my bottom dollar you will find none of them give you more information than OCUK or treat their customers better.

See my above answer, the only reason i found this thread was because of the failure to post the item to me when they said they would or update me on its stock at all.
 
I think OCUK are doing a good job with the updates, however I do think that emails should be sent to people who preordered with updates and ETAs, but overall they are extremely nice and helpful .. im keeping my preorder for the strix .. I dealt with them 2 times before and this is my 3rd purchase .. definitely not their fault the cards are late
 
Ive ordered a new system and its being delayed by the lack of graphics cards.

When i spoke with customer service they said im 324th in the queue. Anyone able to recommend a decent card other than the founders edition that might be in sooner
