I'm half tempted to just get a refund and stick with my current card. I hate being lied to why put the 3rd if they full well knew it wouldn't be then I based my buying decision solely on that information

For what, the sake of a fortnight?

This time next month you will be able to pick up the cards as and when you want to anyway.

The whole concept of waiting in a queue to give people money (and a considerable chunk of money) only for those people to then lie to you is one I cannot get on board with. That kind of behaviour is best left to the iPhone crowd.
 
Well get a refund and repuchase it again in a month if you so wish.

I have an iPhone, i pre-order it, they take the money, it comes 1 week later. Somtimes I buy it 6 months after release and I just walk in store.

There is just too much demand sometimes.
 
I'm not too fussed about brand or warranty so just looking to pick up the cheapest version with a good quiet cooler and with stable 2ghz OC ability which has led me to the KFA2 EX OC version at £550. OcUK describe it as have 1x 8pin and 1x 6pin which seems ideal as I want something more than the single 8pin, however I can't see any photos showing the power connectors and googling it has thrown up results saying it has only a single 8pin.

Does anyone know what power connections the KFA2 GTX1080 EX OC has?
 
Yeah not best happy about the ETA up on the site either. Considering a refund. Taking money so soon when there's no estimated arrival is annoying. May get one down the road or GTX 1070 instead. GTX 1080 purchase was because I have no card after selling
 
My main gripe is I based my purchase on the eta as I'm watercooling it so brand really made no difference to me it was the fact it had to be reference design to fit my block and arrive in a week as I was waiting for my block to be delivered

I want this card too. Specs only state one "Input 8-pin" ?
 
This is driving me crazy. Some sites quote 17th of June.

My question is this.... Why am I waiting for the evga card when there are some founders editions still out there/available now?

Am I being impatient... I probably am. I'm not sure I'll be able to handle this wait.... I mean what will I lose by not waiting?
 
Well yes they should change it from the 3rd, as its been confirmed it won't be then, but also you are not going to get it any quicker by cancelling, just make things worse. Hell I am stuck on a 5870 until the 1080 arrives and its not ideal, but its not that bad. If you read all the 1080 threads the EVGA rep said about a week ago it will not be the 3rd so I am not surprised, just hope it is the 10th or 17th at worst.

I wont buy and FE because it costs MORE and you are getting less. Simple.

I would rather wait another 1-2 weeks and get a card I am happy with for less than a card I will not be 100% happy with, to be fair the FE is not bad at all, its just OP for what it is.
