Anyone here able to advise on when we will see 120hz+ 1440p HDR monitors as that will possibly decide if I go 1070 or 1080. What about cost and performance compared to IPS? I'm thinking predator 27" 1440p gsync IPS with evga 1080 FTW currently. Don't however want to shell out if the same thing but with hdr is out in 4-6 months. If that's the case I'll stick with 1080p and 1070 until 1080ti.
 
I understand frustration and very naughty of OcUK stating the 3rd for these but there is nothing out that is faster and the FE is even more of a silly price than what we have paid. 2 weeks will fly by chaps. :)

WesleyBurns - This is for pre-orders of the MSI Gaming X Card? Just checking as me & Ktroopa are in for MSI Gaming X cards, not FTW cards.

It is hard to wait. I'm on Intel graphics as well. I'll go on my Xbox and try to hold out. Still crossing fingers for this Friday though

I did see the 3rd when I Pre-ordered and thought "yea, no chance" as I had already been given a heads up on dates and this makes it easier for me but for others, I totally understand the annoyance. If it helps, I was told I would get my Oculus Rift on March 28th and I didn't get it til 2 weeks ago :( Gaming on Intel though is harsh.
 
The real question is when do the Xtreme cards arrive? Hopefully before all of the FTW club has their cards, right? :D

8th in que for evga FTW so hopefully should be in the first batch. another company is stating the 17th so I really hope that isn't the case, but this company does do a lot for its customers and the service tends too be second too none. I know it's stressful waiting but I'm sure there doing every thing they can too get the cards in for us.

Literally the same as me. Sole my 970 while the prices were still ok, hoping 1070 but the wait pushed me into a 1080 preorder.

With the limited overclocking I'm contemplating switching to a cheaper 1080 as the extra power etc seems overkill (would still want a quiet one though), or waiting for a 1070.
