This Strix OC situation is a joke. ASUS ****ed up by promising unachievable clock speeds and their customers are the ones paying the price. The communication is abysmal and their solution of offering a worse product for the same price that you paid 2 months ago is a ****take. Hope the sheeple that blindly buy Asus every time realise they are no better that any other company - in this instance they are by far the worst.
 
So the Rainforest shipment from the 20th must have gone elsewhere. Hope Gibbo scored some of it.

I don't see why they'd send me that email if I was getting a card. I've not had any shipping email. What does yours say differently?

I've reread the email without the rage (I skim read it in my anger at this situation). It appears that they're simply cards that couldn't reach the OC speeds. Much like the rest of the "non-binned" Asus chips most likely. I suspect there is 0 difference between these and the gamer version.

No shipping info yet? Im sure earlier on in this thread it was stated that OC had a good relationship with MSI. I know we are probably grating on some but if you dont ask you wont get ignored & its slightly frustrating seeing your competitors with stock in and no new news from OC on the subject.

That was the last bit we heard nothing since then. Let's not fool ourselves that Friday is even likely otherwise we would have been told for definite.

I'm 21 in the queue and even in my wildest dreams I don't see that many magically appearing in a magical shipment that can't be confirmed despite having an ETA this week.

Sorry to sound like a broken record but its coming up to the end of the month and I was just wondering if you have heard any news on any KFA2 shipments that will be coming to you guys anytime in the next couple weeks?
1st in queue for a 1080 HOF
Getting slightly impatient as all other questions get brushed aside under all the EVGA and ASUS talk lol

Morning all,

Is there any further update to be had on the EVGA hybrid 1080 - any firmer dates (or clock speeds even)?

Just finished my new build, which is taking advantage of the 970 from my old rig for now - problem being I'll hopefully be selling my old rig (including the 970) in the next few days, so ideally I'd like to know how long I'll be a graphics peasant for.

Seems the EVGA Hybrid will have the FTW speeds. Stock for the US is a possible for next week, so UK perhaps will follow shortly after?

Do we have any numbers on whats due in this Friday/Coming Monday as of yet?
