** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

Noooo i can't wait any longer:( i have a Predator X34A on the same order and overclockers won't dispatch it until the classified comes in, i have a new desk coming this week it's going to look very bare :(

Just ask in cs to credit the 34A back to you then order then repurchase the monitor

Thus creating two orders that can ship separately
Done :)

Hi guys

Just to make things a little clearer for you here.

1) We have not outputted yet any GTX1080 FTW cards bar a few units for review sites which arrived with reviewers last week.
2) In the US the EVGA store is a popular place for the consumer to shop, in EU and especially the UK we dont have many customers shop at the EVGA online store.
3) With this in mind in the US first stocks are allocation to the EVGA store but in EU and especially in the UK our first stocks are shipping directly to our big partners. So first stocks in Europe will come to the likes of Overclockers.
4) We should get stock at the same time as the US, although then I have 3-4 days shipping to the UK so usually a couple of days behind them.

I am in Germany this week and Taiwan resumes after Dragon Boat holiday so should get a clearer picture and then place updates here Monday/Tuesday night. Stock into the UK will be poor this week due to the holiday last week in Asia but the following week w/c 20th June this should really start to improve.

First SC cards are still due with clients on Monday (tomorrow) though so we will start to fulfill some backorders.

Hope this helps as ever.

Ben

** Competitor Hinting **, can you tell me if they'll be getting stock for around the 17th? if it's any longer than that then it's coming upto a month with no card, £597 taken out of my account and one Star out swearing off customer :/

No problem and thanks for the follows - Appreciated :)

Here is the same games with the maximum stable overclocks as well.

I am really impressed with the G1 in truth and breezing through games. Not really that much benefit to overclocking but I can still hit 2050Mhz and remain stable, so over 2Ghz is still a nice and somewhat incredible clock speed and something I thought I would need LN2 to hit :D

Wow, really making me reconsider my FTW order.

Doesn't seem to be much performance gained at those clocks. Still a nice card.

EDIT:

Had a look at the rest of your videos too. Good job, always nice to see someone be hands on with a card when making these decisions :)

I genuinely wouldn't have made the switch if not for reviewing and trying to give my Youtube channel a boost and seeing the gains reaffirms my original thoughts. If you have plenty of disposable income, the 1080 is a great card but hard to justify buying if you own a Titan X or a 980Ti IMO.

Ah yeah man, I hope I didn't come across as criticising your decision, I'm glad you did since you helped me make the decision to wait for the TI or next series all together.

Gave you a sub.

Another great video gregster! :)

It is hard to jusify the swap from a Ti or TX. But in the end I kept my 1080's. Thought might aswell just enjoy them and the extra frames they are giving me.

Im seeing over 20%+ in games over my Ti at maximum clock(1480mhz). Thats single card aswell. Which as you well know can make a big difference in games to the highs and lows and just allow you to push those settings that little bit more for a more enjoyable experience.

I think if you can sell a TX and grab a 1080 for pretty much nothing or even pocket some its a worthy upgrade.

I think if I wasn't running G sync as well I'd go for the 1080. But an increase from 50 to 60fps isn't so important for me anymore.

Thanks... so for example 100-150 in the queue, you think I should receive my card by the end of W/C 20th if not the 17th? I should get my card by about the 25th? would just like some confirmation of when I am likely to get card. I am just over 100 in the queue or maybe less now if people have cancelled. Thanks for info anyway it is better than other manufacturers who do not bother giving any info, FTW bit slow to market, although I guess that is Nvidia's fault not EVGA.

Cheers for the sub and I didn't read your post as a criticsm and valid points. I would have waited it out for the Ti personally as well from a gamers perspective :)

Yer, I play The Division a lot and on the TX I see regular drops to the low 50's but with the 1080, it stays above 60 fps and that is the sweetspot for me at 1440P. I run G-Sync as well, so not so bad on either really but nice to have those extra frames and I don't regret my purchase.... Just wish it was slightly cheaper :)

If you want the monitor earlier, just call up and say so, if they say no, them re-direct them to this post saying "Gibbo said do it, DO IT NOW!"

They will ship the monitor for you FOC and then the Classified when it arrives.

You need to be enjoying that 34" curved beauty now and not in a couple of weeks or so. :)

Ok so I am looking for a new card . but cant decide ... 1070 or 1080 ..

I want this to use with the HTC VIVE ...

So my question is .. do I get the 1070 and as things stand it would do the job just fine or should I spend more and hope to get better graphics as the VR all gets better or would it just be wasted ££££ on a card that will not get used any more than the 1070 would ???
