Although VR does tend to use the extra grunt well Rich I think I'd just save a packet and get a 1070 (which will do the job nicely)
Just don't want that feeling I should have spent the extra when games get better and the high graphics option cant be used ...
Tho now I am looking at the HOF as it white and would look well in the white case.
Tho think its going to kill me having the waiting game again the Vive was bad enough

Contact customer service. I did that this morning and was told that I'm first person in the queue for Gigabyte's 1080 Xtreme. I'm bit worried because I'm not sure if I was fast in ordering or because no one else is interested

Mine went through May 27th 14:32 and when asked my position in the queue, was told I'm 'one of the first in the queue'.

ps. it seem that 1080 Xtreme isn't their first choice so not many ppl order the card.
The rep on these forums said he expects models sent to reviewers this week and probably the following week for customers.

I ordered on Saturday 28th of May @ 18:32 (that is when the 'fully paid' email came through) and last Monday I was 192 in the queue.
