Hi there

So this year marks OcUK 25th Anniversary and after the huge success of previous car meets at the HQ, we have made the decision to do our fourth official meet at OcUK HQ, with plans for it to be bigger than ever, more cars, more displays, more computers, more food, more drink etc. etc.

DATE: Saturday May 25th 2024
TIME: 10am - 4pm (Cars displaying arrive 08:30 - 09:30)
LOCATION: Overclockers UK (OCUK Ltd), Shelton Boulevard, Stoke-on-Trent. ST1 5GP. (Visible from A500)

It shall be a static display, engines off and display cars cannot leave unless an emergency until 2pm.

Here is a couple of videos from a couple of our last meetrs:

It is very early days and in coming weeks there shall be an official landing page along with where to register if you wish to attend the event or attend and display a vehicle.
As always OcUK forum members are getting the first heads up to this event and priority for displaying vehicles before we open the event up to our larger customer base and companies we work with.

The plan is for the event to be bigger than ever, so we shall be having some local companies attend such as AutobriteDirect, Tegiwa and some car dealerships who specialise in Supercars and some car clubs, the hope is to have over 100 cars on display:

  • 100+ cars on display (supercars, classic cars, sport cars, hot hatches etc)
  • Free food & drink (snacks)
  • Hot food stalls
  • Demonstrations from Autobrite Mobile cleaning team
  • OcUK Tours
  • On-Site facilities (toilettes)
  • Demos and simulators of latest PC's and competitions
  • and More.....

I wish to attend & display a vehicle

So those in motors, please reply stating you wish to attend and display or just attend, in a few weeks I will then post a link to online forms where you can register your name, vehicle and we shall send you tickets to print out which must be displayed upon arrival for those displaying a vehicle. Those just wishing to attend just reply doing so, we need to get an idea of numbers so we can prepare enough food and drink along with booking enough food stalls for the day.
We shall of course attempt to book 20c plus sunny weather as well. ;)

I'll attend. Not much point in displaying the Model 3 Performance or 440i, so probably just a visitor.

Forum members can display, trust me we have the space, our warehouse car park can hold 100+ with ease, probably 200+ if we get creative, we want all types of cars, ICE, EV, Old, New etc. :)

I'd like to attend, bit of a trek (180 miles) to get there early enough to be on the display (would be great to display, and no issues me being awake to drive, but ever tried waking up and having 20-22 year olds ready to actually leave by 5/6am!?).

Will pop up with my daughters and then go and stay at Alton Towers for the night and spend Sunday there :)

I assume there is enough parking for the late(r) arrivals?

Anyone displaying a car I’m afraid arrival no later than 09:30 as the warehouse car park will be no movement, it’s more for safety.

Those arriving later will need to park in customer parking, if that is full we are making arrangements for overflow parking at nearby units just in case it is mega busy. This will mean a short walk.

We’ll try and be there, will bring somewhere between 1 and 3 cars depending on logistics/mood/whatever’s working

GT86 is almost a cert
May also bring the Hilux and/or MR2 if possible.

Will there be somewhere I can hide a tow car/trailer if I end up towing the MR2 with the Volvo?

Yes Autobrite have given us permission to use their car park, so you could put trailer there and then drive round to OcUK.

Well, technically.... ;)

(but having that staff id probably helps)

Guys Feek is spot on here, I've got over 30 cars on the forum down as coming, but only around 18 email addresses.

Were going to open this out more next month in social media and if the numbers get filled up BY THOSE FILLING IN THE FORMS, those who have done the latter will be emailed an entry ticket to show marshals upon arrival, those without risk been refused entry irrelevant of you saying your coming on the forum, now of course I'd try to not reject anyone, but so we can truly calculate the numbers we do need all intending to come to fill in the forms please. :)

@Gibbo Do you have any issues with me bringing my camera and audio gear to record the day to put up on my channel? Its tech and cars, and I know a lot of my viewers are into both! Dont worry if you dont want me to as ill leave the stuff at home if not.
Also, just wanted to confirm if my submission for entry went through at all? Cheers buddy

Absolutely zero issues, people are more than welcome to bring filming gear, can give you a private tour of OcUK as well where you can do some filming in permitted areas. :)

I’ll probably come up for a few hours. Been a while since we had a big motors social.

Not driving anything exciting so attendee only

No problem, remember to fill in the form please. :)

I can’t commit 100% this far in advance so haven’t done the form yet happy to fill it out or not depending on which is best for you.

Yeah best to fill it in at this stage, we won't be emailing tickets for some months so if at that point you cannot make it just let us know please via forum or reply email.

@Gibbo what's the suitability for bringing family (3 year old and wife)? I'd love to come and attend as a spectator so to speak but both of them would love it too.

Hi there

It is fine but not to state the obvious don't let your child out of your sight, we are near a main road and a live car park, also and I am sure I don't need to say this but no touching the cars and that is both adults and children, unless an owner gives permission.

That's all absolutely fine thanks, only other question is that as a spectator can you come and go for a shorter period of time or is it kind of fixed at 10-4? Don't think it would be a problem but just want to check.

In terms of filling in the form, is just my name and details ok or do I need to do one for each of us?

Exhibitors displaying need to park up 10-2 minimum ideally.
Visitors can come and go, parking might be tight but we will have overflows a short walk away.

Just fill in the form for yourself. :)

Over 50 cars now, any forum members displaying not filled in the form, GET IT FILLED IN PLEASE!

ALL FORUM MEMBERS DISPLAYING & VISITING MUST FILL IN FORMS!

Guys we are now upto 60 cars already without pushing out in OcUK social / marketing channels.
But we only have 50 forms filled in, so there is upto 10 of you who have replied saying you wish to come or display but have not filled in forms, PLEASE FILL IN THE FORMS! :)
