OcUK Mafia game thread - Game 3

Such a lot to talk about! The town is divided with their votes, but eventually there is just one name sounding out more than the other. Brabbinho stood no chance against the force of the angry mob, looking to avenge their fallen comrades.

Confident in their choice, the town breaks into his house, looking to see if he's left anything incriminating behind. But all they find is a normal house. Can it be?

Brabbinho the Townie has been lynched.

You're dead, and no longer able to participate in the game. Feel free to post in the original Mafia Thread (not this one), however don't post anything about who you think the different roles are, or discuss the details of this game in any way until the game is complete. Thanks!

We are now into the night phase of the game. Night will last until 10PM Tuesday 25th February.

Mafia, please decide who to kill, one of you PM me your target.

Cop, if you are still alive, please PM me the name of the target you would like to investigate.

There should be no further posting in this thread until I post again with the results on Tuesday, after which discussion is free to start again.
 
Once again it is a beautiful day when everyone awakes. One by one, everyone heads out to the usual meeting place, knowing that there is likely someone who will not be joining them. There is a short wait before as one everyone moves to investigate. The door to Psymonkee's has been broken, and inside is a horrible sight indeed.

I said yesterday that I thought Brabbinho was a townie, I wouldn't have bothered defending him (or switching votes) if I was in the mafia. Gooner Leroy spent the best part of yesterday trying to get me lynched, he also brought Egon into the conversation as well. I'm certain that he's doing this purely to deflect any attention toward anybody but himself.
 
I said yesterday that if Brabbinho ended up being townie then 47 was probably mafia but now I'm not so sure. Psymonkeee seemed to be leaning towards Gooner, Ghost and Killswitch (the last of which was ultra suspicious yesterday)
 
Well, I re-read the last few pages a couple of times last night and It helped to bring a couple of names to the forefront. I didn't write anything down though so I've lost my train of thought a bit.

I need to read again and this time make some notes. But the one name that stuck out to me was Gooner. I've said all along he's playing a different game to last time and he's drifted under the radar a bit.

I know exactly what Gooner's response to these posts this morning will be.
 
We have to get it right today otherwise it's going to be near impossible for us to win. I'm going to wait until everyone has had a chance to talk before I put my vote up.

I'll explain, I am possibly not going to be around tomorrow so I wanted to ensure that I voted for the person I was most suspicious of.

I am, however, not 100% sure and so, since we are now down to the wire, I'd rather miss the vote by not being available tomorrow than being involved in voting for the final townie being off'd

Yet you voted to have Brabbinho lynched initially? lol

I was voting to get you lynched and also dropping Egon's name into the hat because I certain you two are mafia. Don't know how you can say these actions were to deflect attention away from me as I was't really drawing much attention other than people commeting on how quiet I have been.

The reason I've been quiet has been to let other people talk for once :p (and partly being very busy IRL) so that I can try to analyse what's been going on and the patterns of voting.
 
If my day 2 gut feeling about Fortyseven was right I really hope he thinks fully about his actions today. If I was wrong then it's potentially not so bad.
