How do you know they were pointless? I did 3 restarts during the day, one to pickup an update to the hMod 134 Alpha. One to try and fix BigBrother and one to make sure everyone was up and running on Whitelist.

I did one just there as some people had said the server was down.

As to why you can't connect, looks like a verification problem MC end.

I don't think it's a multiplay problem. Mc name verification and logging in breaks then sErver goes screwy

Somebody has destroyed Pete's house. I can check who did it by downloading everybody's log files. If I have to do that myself you and anybody else will be perma-banned from the server.

If you fess up before I find your log file, i may consider suspension instead of banning.

linwig temp banned for using flymod, "missing" the bit in the rules about flymod isn't a valid excuse.

Ban will be lifted on Wednesday night at 8:40pm

My personal view is that caves are open game. If somebody finds a good one then it's up to them to mine it out, you can't claim ores in specific areas. If somebody has made there own corridor mine then fair enough, leave it alone. But caves are part of the open world and are open to anybody.
