Can I ask what the protocol is regarding digging into someone elses mine?? Does the person digging a mine have rights to the gems within it? How about in unexplored areas of the mine that they haven't been to yet?

well, the world is big enough that you shouldnt even need to do that in all honesty. in situations where you are close to other builds, such as the various towns, its a sensible decision to make any mines community mines and such as anything within those mines is free game. that's how i played it when we started building new foundland and that worked very well.

for personal mines though, no, id just find somewhere else. there arent any solid rules afaik though because its virtually impossible to enforce but an admin will have to confirm that

Hagia Sophia

I have decided to give myself a big project

The wonderful Hagia Sophia from Istanbul, I thought it would translate to MC quite well and hae worked out a design based on some floorplans and profiles i found. I am constructing it near the spawn past HindranceScorns obsidian tower.

At the moment I have marked out an area and am clearing and levelling before I put down the first layers of the build, sadly I can't seem to get minecraft stucture planner working so if there is anyone who is good with domes that would like to help me at some point that would be awesome, probbly reasonably far away from doing the domes tho!!!

I need some help please guys from someone who knows how to use craftbukkit? I have a normal server running fine that myself and my mates use but I want to use bukkit. I have followed a guide and got everything in a folder, I copied over my old world etc and when I run the batch file I get a black box for half a second and then it disappears. I can connect to the server so its running fine I just have nothing on screen to control it with? I cant even close the server without closing all java processes in task manager. How can I get it to show me a box or something like the standard minecraft server does?

It was taken off when the server was moved to the new map.

None at the moment, was very unstable and crashing the server when we went to 1.4, waiting on the plugin becoming more stable before reintroduction.

Ah ok cool, I'm using one that works but doesnt create a return portal so you have to do it yourself. Was hoping to upgrade but that would appear to be on hold

I will help with the dome if you like..... I like doing circular things.
