It's a .rar file, go to the folder where it's downloaded and right click open with
Did you follow the install instructions?
Navigate to your minecraft folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\bin) delete everything in there except the version file.
Then copy the files across.
You have to delete the old ones first.

Willcrabb, I am assuming u downloaded the zipped file successfully with the 1.1 client. First of all, backup your bin folder before doing anything, just copy it and save it as bin-old. or similar. once you have done this, open bin, then delete everything apart from the "version" file. so delete the natives folder, minecraft.jar etc....
After this, just extract the contents of the zipped folder into the bin.
An important thing to remember is, make sure the directory is the right one. For example. using win7, it could be in: Users/Willcrabb/appdata/roaming/.minecraft.
The appdata folder should be hidden. And the "Willcrabb" is your profile name or w/e.
Just run the .exe and it should work.

The spawner we have made has a rail system that we had built to go between properties, its just not connected to spawn. It also has a bottom floor for animal spawns, as well as a test area on left hand side that spawns animals and when they step into the water it pulls them into the spawner to be killed.
Current line in red needs hooking up to the somewhere in the blue box.
