Can I tear down the abandoned rail track in the unstable land please? It's long gone, and it looks rather ugly floating there. Also, Hind's outpost has been creepered.

The unstable land doesn't really seem that unstable as it's been there for months in the same state.

I think the track and diamond/iron blocks there are FT's.
Also I did think the same about the inside of hinders outpost, but oddly it looks like he set off tnt inside his own house, weird.

I think it was a creeper - if we could get the unstable land reset I could build a new outpost.

FT - if you want your track and resources, contact me and I will give them to you.

Well I guess this is a good excuse to get the whole of the unstable land reset (somehow). It's in a bit of a shambles ATM.

It was reset not that long ago, but it resets to the same (predefined) landscape. I doubt all the ore has been mined since then.

Do you remember which way you walked from spawn? And how far/how many days passed walking that way? I might be able to help you narrow it down.

syl has the materials from the rail to nowhere in the unstable land.

IMO one has to use common sense when dealing with this; if its goes nowhere and the offer to give the mats back after tearing it down to the original builder I think it is reasonable - area looks better and the builder gets his mats back. However, I do not apply this to buildings ect. - it was a one off tear down and I do not do something so drastic in my normal course of playing.

Anyhow, enough of this little rant.

Need a favour from an admin, if you can do this.

I would like my .dat file to be deleted and I would then like to be re-whitelisted. I cannot play the game at all now, due to this stupid internal exception java.net.socketexception connection reset thing, and I have heard that by doing this it may fix my problems.

All my stuff is in my house in my locked chests, I assume I would have access to them again if I was re-whitlisted?

I know the 1.6 patch has a fix for this problem, but until it is stable, I understand why most do not want it.

FT will need to delete your player .dat, he has access to these files, doing so will only reset your character location in the world back to spawn and wipe your currently held inventory. Corruption in this can cause issues and is a good place to start.

Whitelisting has no impact on your problem, it is simply a text list of people who can access the server, no other data is stored in it. Chests are locked to your minecraft username so you will have no problems accessing them again.

Have you tried connecting to a 1.6.4 version server to see if your problem is resolved?

Cheers, thought it might be FT who had to do this. I have not tired a 1.6 server yet but will do so now. Do you know where a server list is?

There are no real server lists as such, all are privately run. Message me on linktart and I'll send you the address of a private test server.

There won't be any news, the damage was rolled back some time ago and the offender dealt with by the admin team. The matter is at an end.
