I know I spoke to you Maxi and you said it probably couldn't happen, but I thought I'd post here to see what other people think and explain what I'm on about in more than one line.

I think the vaults at spawn should be demolished and replaced with a park or plaza, still including the 'ocuk' thing either with trees or plants or something. Everyone who has items in the vaults should be given a week's notice to move them to the Pantheon, then the spawn point could be put in the centre, with everything properly signposted so newcomers know where to go and what they can do.

I think the spawn area was a strength of the last map (I know a lot of people disagree) because when I joined the server I had some idea where things were and where I was allowed to build. It seems a bit tacked on right now, to spawn in front of a few signs that don't properly direct people to the places they need to go. I dunno, it might just be me, but I wanted to get everyone else's opinion... the vaults seem a bit of a waste of space now.
 
Kind of agree with Gazzab

I'd much rather spawn in what he describes, a little park either where it is now, or keep things as they are but spawn about 2 minutes away in a little park and just have some nice sign posts up explaining things for new members.
 
You know it is very rare that i go to spawn but it would be nice to see it look
nicer and more welcoming to the new players.

But i would suggest drawing up plans and submitting them to let the community decide on layout IF something like that was to be done.
 
This is what I was hoping the new balloons would fix, you guys could design and create a new spawn with the balloons easily accessible and if everyone was happy about the "new spawn" maybe FT could change the /spawn location.
 
I agree the vaults at spawn at pointless now, especially as there's tons in the Pantheon anyway. If we ever do a world reset again then we can just use the Pantheon chests.

In terms of turning a hub into a new spawn, it seems people haven't really been using them, not sure why. Maybe the coal cost? Maybe people like to build near the current spawn? Not sure..
I think I'm the only person who's built homes at the 3 balloon hubs, and I believe only maxi and mrbios have built at purple.
