that texture pack looks great, but has it been updated with the new blocks/items?

the lighting mod does make that texture pack very dark though

better light makes everything too dark lol.

im not convinced, until notch sorts out proper hi-res texture support, thenim staying standard. right now all the hi-res packs look great until you start walking around and everything flickers, it ruins it somewhat.

...now if i could just make that damn depth of field mod work.

that's not to do with them being high ress it's because there's bugger all AF.

which is why notch needs to fix the hd handling of hd textures first. it's not as simple as a lack of AF, if it was then forcing it in the control panel should fix it. it doesnt.

actually forcing af fixes the textures (although even without it close up textures perpendicular to the camera don't have any distortion) it then renders the little black lines between the blocks more and looks weird.

But i havn't seen "flicker" that is anything other than what you get on ground textures i nany game with no af

it's there i nthe default game but less noticeable.
