OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

alright guys - House is starting to look a bit better - feel free to have a looksie.

if anyone's up to the challenge of fixing the water at my bridge (the mobs are getting stuck in it) i'd be extremely appreciative. :)
 
Dunno what it is about minecraft, but it is super addictive.

Playing survival on another server atm and loving it.

A couple of issues. I suffocated in my minecart and lost my materials. When I went back to the point where I died my materials weren't there, they weren't 'invisible' either.

Minecart journeys are noticeably slower, about 2/3 the speed, but I imagine that's a teething issue. Apart from that everything looks great.

No, it doesn't make any difference to speed.

Two other things - I've removed one track level of the 'junction' immediately after the spawn station to Newfoundland. Tapping the minecart in the desired direction just wasn't working and the cart ran off the tracks.

Additionally, there are a few iron blocks missing from the OCUK sign at spawn now! Seeing as I had no materials after dying I used these to build minecarts, many of which escaped or vanished into thin air at the [now removed] junction.
 
Mine cart issue is probably down to Minecart Mania needing setup as FTs server runs Bukkit.

FT can you set me up with FTP access so I can play about with the plugins. If you could email them throug tha wold be great, I'd emai yo myself but not sure which email you actually use. Gmail or Hotmail one?
 
Would it be possible to get added to the 'whitelist'
While im fairly new to the minecraft land, more to be able to have a nosey and see what fantastic stuffs been created so i can retire back to the offline land and keep practicing making things..

Everything's been copied over as far as I can see.

My chests at Yaz's village is as I left is, as is my own inventory. The vaults should work the same way but that area is protected at the moment so I can't open any of them to check.

Yes it seems to luckly.
Logon to FT hosted server & have a look to make sure.
Just put linktart.co.uk where you put the server IP to join.

At the moment I think FT server is still a test one to see if everything can be copied over.

Don't think a new world start is going to go down well as the one you have all built so far looks amazing :)

But it's not for me to say just adding my input as I don't play nor have I had much to do with this world you have built.

New guys asking to be added you may have to wait a few days as things are up in the air at the moment, with new things being thought of on how to run the server.
 
Just to add to what garsands has said - there is no whitelist on the test server at the moment so you can at least see how things are going by logging on to linktart.co.uk. Keep in mind that at some point it will be wiped and we'll copy the live server over again.
