I've been speaking to Windle a bit today and things are moving along. He's got ftp access to the server now, and restart/etc access.
Issues that need sorting:
1) LogBlock (equivalent of BigBrother) currently isn't logging. Should be simple to fix.
2) Vaults can't be protected (I think). However, there's a very easy to use chest protection plugin that is installed. This will allow people to protect chests themselves. http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/se...-sign-based-chest-lock-no-databases-323.4336/
3) Whitelist isn't implemented yet. I want to replace the current white list with an automatic signup system to save time for admins.
We also will need some 'moderators' with rollback powers and the like. I've not discussed this with Windle/garsands but I do feel that it would be a really good idea.

At the moment by default on import nobody can access the chests in the vaults. What I may do is move things over and then re-allow access to vault chests one by one as people request it. If we do this, in the space of an hour or so people should be able to easily add signs to all their chests to protect them.

How to Find a Griefer:
•Someone destroyed your house:
Grab a woodpickaxe or a bedrock block (whatever you have available) and either place the bedrock instad of one of the griefed blocks or place an block there and clock it eith the woodpickaxe and you know who grefed your house.
•Someone burned down your house:
Go inside, type "/lb block fire" and you get a list with all player that tried to light your house.
•Someone blowed up your house:
Go inside, type "/lb block tnt" and you know whou placed it there.

It's possible to turn off the communication with the central minecraft servers. It does mean people without legit accounts can join but we have a whitelist anyway...
i can't login to either the OcUK or the LinkTart servers - "internal client error ... Server returned response code: 503" etc etc.
is anyone else having difficulty or is it just my internet?
