minecraft.net appears to be down as I can see one person on the server. (isminecraftdown says otherwise, but it rarely seems to be right)

it takes a while to load chunks of map but if anybody is on it lists them under the defaultmap and cavemap options. there was a player on when ly thought he killed the server

edit: thats in iron (chrome)

Ok just had the weirdest thing: I have AVG installed, just found a 'threat detected thing when trying to log in on minecraft: C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\natives\lwjgl.dll' file was the source apparently....

dont suppose anyone else has this? :S...

last few days is the most I have logged on to minecraft for about 2 months.
Is is always this bad with the auth servers down ?
It was never this bad before & this was before the auth servers had been upgraded.

On the basis of what you've said I've just checked and apparently furnaces and dispensers are also supported. I'll test this shortly.

The mc.net servers are totally screwed tonight, moreso than before. Can't get on my own server at all.
