Me and a few others have set up a Nether base which is going pretty well. We would like to be able to create a pigman killer and a small farm for which we will need water. However, water buckets do not work in the Nether as they fizz and disapear as soon as you place them. So to be able to do what we want we will need water blocks (9). If a mod could fill a chest with water blocks it would be highly appreciated as the lack of water limits what we can do. I doubt they will be abused as they are essentially the same as buckets but can be used in the Nether.

If you would do that we could do a ton of awesome stuff down there!

pig men don't die in lava (unless they drown) so you can use lava flows instead of water.

so you want a spawner with lava flows leading to a fall killer. (30 blocks drop should be a killer)

Also it's server policy not to spawn blocks for players except for testing
 
Can I be added to the whitelist please? My Minecraft name is scrlk. :)

EDIT: I've signeg up on the LinkTart website - is the whitelisting manual?

Good going tonight (despite lag : P) nether outpost set up - relatively safe.
Few random bugs like - blocks replacing themselves once mined seemed to be clientside - not in a lag related way - blocks were placable while this bug happened also - just unminable like they're protected. (I lost 2 blocks of lapis due to this + lava :S). only fixable by leaving the chunk and coming back we found out. (relogging didn't fix it either).
Otherwise, good laugh etc.
