How do I protect my chest?

I've placed a sign in front of my chest with [private] IamNOTaKitten (seperate lines), and it doesn't attach to the chest, just changes from private to [?].

yes, i would appreciate this also! i accidentally set a whole bunch of Gazzabs stuff on fire and we had to put it all out manually!

try [private] and nothing else.

I had this issue a few days ago. it just wouldnt work but today its been fine

Aye I've tried that - still doesn't work.

Every so often it flashes up a message to say there are no unclaimed chests around. Most annoying when there are.

Which is the best way to save a singleplayer world to usb so i can use it on another pc, and not get any errors?

Do i just use the Saves folder in the .minecraft jar?

I don't get why they are having so many problems recently, there must be some server in the world that can handle the traffic if things like the wow login servers can run without this much failing.

Oh and thanks for sorting the ghasts spawns. The nether is working a lot better now with less ghasts. There is enough to shoot you when exploring but not enough to cause that crazy group of them.
