Using Misa's highres texture pack so browser based one doesnt work

ahh good point just realised i killed my texture pack using the browser
i did but cant always trust the launchers from just any site
as a lot of them contain loggers within the files
one from someone in the community would be safer

I take it due to lack of posts today the server is playing ok?
Seemed to be ok last night, I have had a strange issue with the nether gate, when others go into spawn, I can here the fire bombs exploding and have also had blocks being blown up at my gate, most strange.
Well played to Sylvet for getting the map fixed, Frenchtart for hosting the server, good luck to Tefal being an admin.

Has a plug-in been installed to stop fire spreading on the server? I only ask because I did a fire test and the only way I could get wood to catch fire is by lighting it directly!
EDIT: Actually that's wrong, things are catching fire but I have no idea what the order is.

For those who might have trouble finding their way home here is the cartograph from yesterday when server came back up.
Right-click link and save as.
Full map (minus Tefal) 127MB: *link removed*
Tefal map 12MB: *link removed*
Hopefully either Maxi or Fab can upload it to MC website and add it to Zoom it.
Files are of a size that even Windows 7 built in photo viewer can open.

Ye running ok. Finished off clearing under your tree farm with help of Taz this morning. Dunno if someone came through the nether portal but another one had spawned next to the one we broke yesterday.

Im not much of a fan of putting my username and passwords into files downloaded from mediafire
The new launcher is as already mentioned the cause of login issues, for those who wish to stay on the old version so you can play on the server; download this:

This comprises the old launcher and the version file from the new beta so it won't autoupdate without asking, I've tested this and it works first time every time. The version file goes in .minecraft\bin

yeah did this and now i can play, annoying though, but fortunately you don't have to do anything, you can just use either loader at anytime .
Don't even need the version file.
