2080ti nearly 30% faster than a 1080ti at 4k not enough to make me jump for double the outlay but not bad...

When you take into consideration the shift in naming, the 2080 is seriously disappointing compared to the 1080Ti.

The 2080Ti looks like quite the monster of a card. But it should be, given the price and all and taking the Titan spot.

Wolftenstein 2 1440P, 2080 vs 1080 Ti 173FPS vs 124 looks pretty good to me. So in some cases even the 2080 is massively faster, as some of us suspected. In this case it's a 40% jump over the old Ti. Looking ahead I expect newer games will see similar gains

So as "speculated" consistent 30-50% (some higher) performance over 1080Ti without DLSS

And DLSS is just SMOKING the pascal cards - approaching 100% increase... bwahahahahaha

Yeah, seems to like W2. Some of the others though, gains over 1080Ti are low. Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, FC5, BF1 to name a few.

2080Ti is the one to go for, performance looks great so far. If you don't mind an empty wallet and a sore anus that is.

I still think the pricing is ludicrous and shameful though.

Hm, not quite as good as i was expecting but not far off. 2080 less than 10% faster than the 1080ti.

2080ti does look beastly at high res. Techpowerup has it as ~40% faster at 4k!

Seems like the 2070 will come in just under 1080ti performance.

Insane prices though. Nvidia needs some competition. Right now the 2080ti is light years ahead of AMD's top Vega card.

Not worth it. 18 months ago an overclocked 1080 Ti could have been had for the same price as the 2080 and then the 280 Ti isn't miles ahead of the titan XP which if shopping around can be had for half the cost.

2080TI performance looks alright but ridiculous price. 2080 performance is disappointing with ridiculous price. Fair enough if you've got the money for it the TI is a 4k card for sure. I wouldn't buy it for more than £500.
