I can see where you're coming from, I've tried having a bath after a girlfriends dyed her hair too :p

There are certainly more pictures entered than I thought there would be :)

Well Im not going to get chance to submit a better image, I was hoping to take something at the races this weekend, but instead I managed to drop my camera, so I wont be taken any more photos for a while. :(

hehe, cheers guys. Yeh it is a bit on the graphic side.... will hopefully get reasonable impact marks ;)

Joe T:- Yeh it was all totally set up. I had the idea earlier this afternoon and went down to the supermarket and got some red and black food colourings!! Then figured away to get my camera where it is. Thankfully i have a Slik Mini-Pro III tripod which has a suction thing on the bottom, so i stuck it to the bathroom wall. Then had it also connected to a shelf incase the suction thing stopped sucking! Filled the bath, added some decretive 'blood', set the camera taking photo's in burst mode by sticking the shutter down and then preceeded to fake my own suicide!!

p.s. looking foward to seeing cyKey's entry :)

ooh no sorry mate :( was that the 1D with some L glass on? :eek: what was it that broke, the lens and/or camera? have you looked at claiming off the house insurance?

Oh I bet you are :p Excellent photo there. I'm currently working on mine now. I have 2 ideas. One has been done already so I'm hoping to do a different take on it, and the other hasn't yet been done so I'll probably enter that.

:eek: @ Gregeffs image: That's quite possibly the most poignant image I've ever seen grace the photography forum!

Damn though. I had a similar idea at first, but binned it without much thought. Excellent work though, very impressed.

Oh I dunno. Some of those flower macros. Boy, phew. Had me in tears ;)

I have also done flower macros before anyone beats me with a stick.
 
as this draws to a close.... favorite entries so far?

i think gregoff's is the winner, i also like philio16's smile picture, Paulstat's dancer, Combat squirrel's couple

there are some great shots but those are the few that are great and say 'emotion' to me

opinions?

It only had a 1.4x TC on it when it fell, I had just unfastened the 300f2.8 and was holding onto that really tightly. Unfortunately, id also put the 300f2.8 strap over my head, and not the 1dmkII strap... so the camera with TC took a 5foot drop onto a concrete step and then another couple of small bounces down the steps, still works kinda, the shutter button no longer autofocusses, the * button will do it, and also the 300 can be made to AF using the AF Stop button, the TC appears totally undamaged but im going to get the camera and TC checked and repaired.

Id gotten tickets to the Katie Mulua concert after the race and was hoping for some emotive photos of her on stage.... instead I went home crying like a girl.

Im going to get a quote from the CPS repair center thingy, then I will look at claiming if its too expensive, to be fair it was my own mistake so I feel I should pay for it.

Really had problems even coming up with an idea that would be realistic to attempt :(

As I've spent the past few days rat sitting and taking millions of piccys, I decided to see if I could come up with anything out of them.

I know its not brilliant and I know I need to work on my technical side of things but I will say moving subjects are a right pain :D
 
Thought it was about time I entered this round. Hardly posted a thing in the last few months with work taking up so much time lately.

Gregeff's shot made me stop and look for a while. I think that's my pick of this month's entries. SpOOn's shot just makes me smile That baby is some sort of mafia boss surely.
 
Entry has been updated (1st page). Stumbled across it today while in Harwich waiting for my little brother to arrive on the HSS from Holland.
