Clearly not someone from here. I don't see why he'd enter that tournament though, there's no cash prize.

Seemed like a bot, would only ever check or call and when it placed a bet it was because they were dealt a pair.

Lost all enthusiasm for it in the end but still a decent result. Hopefully something can be done to get around these pesky randoms.

To combat the issue with randomers joining and bots surely only the people who have confirmed their in-game name on this thread should be put into the leader board? It's a simple way of making sure the players are at least members of OcUK.

I guess that's rather high maintenance for Blackvault though :(

need to change the password for next week, something ocuk'ish like "whats platinum 87's favourite snack?" or "where does/did azab work?" "what do managers at mcdonalds call their employees post sacking?" should sort it.

I lost concentration at the end tonight, was multitasking, its never a good idea when playing poker.

Can we please move to pokerstars. You can manage who can and cant join the club.
 
There is no fee.

A number of you have already joined the ocuk club a made a couple weeks back. I've played with atleast two of you already.

FWIW Chris Edwards has now parted company with Pokeridol so any issues we have with the private tournament will be hard to sort out. I will try to find out from him who to contract at pokeridol though.

Re: Home games @ pokerstars. They are very simple to set up, although there is already one set up, I think Blackvault should set one up so he can run as admin and sort any problems etc (if we choose to move there that is).

I have no problem with this.

I mailed PS support a week or so ago and asked whether (if needed) I could delete the group/club I created. They said they would delete it from their end (when requested to do so).

Also +100 for moving to pokerstars.

I think the sooner we move over to it, the better.
 
Personally, I would like to move to Pokerstars too, for all the reasons that others have already stated.

Another question on Pokerstars "Home Games" - how are AFKs handled ?

They are my biggest peeve at the moment. They still seem to be a significant problem, to the point where it's putting me off playing. Those of us that can be bothered to be present, aren't seeing anything like the number of hands we deserve and that coupled with the rate at which blinds are raised and antes come in ...

Separate to that - "Home Games" have greater flexibility over the blind raise rate and ante or no-ante, correct ?
 
I think the home games would filter out the 'afker's because in the current game, there r bots joining and not doing anything.

Where as if it was on Pokerstars, everyone who wants to play has to request to join therefore want to play and not go afk.

Maybe setup a poll to decide to carry on using PokerIdol or switch to Pokerstars for the next game
