OcUK Poker Thread.

You could maybe put in an argument for calling his raise on the turn, then folding river...but he might very well have AK, the naked Qc, or AxQc / AxJc / Ax10c or any set.

I don't often play cash but instead MTT, I have also greatly reduced my playing time but can I ask why you bet out after the flop?

Obviously the end result was very nice but curious as to why you made a bet, considering you limped in pre flop. The flop was perfect for you, Ace lands and for the moment there is no flush draws on.

Was this C-Bet based on player history?

Screenshot from our local poker league website, blatant brag tbh

oh and my name is not Chris Bailey before anyone says :p

Boredom led to a few online tourneys today.

Why oh why do I do this crap?? Donkey play everywhere. I could actually launch my laptop through the window. I knew I shouldn't have given it another go, it's nothing like playing IRL, where I actually usually win due to not playing absolute morons! RAAAAGE!

I've managed to qualify for tonight's Sunday Million tournament.

It took a little over 3 and a half hours to qualify!

Looking forward to tonight's session. Never taken part in this tournament before... I have no idea how I'm going to play lol. Any tips?

Anyone still play?

I've decided to give up playing online and focus on cash games at casinos. Really enjoying the experience!

I'd say my live game is better than my online game.

On and Off as always... Used to play cash live a lot, but not had much time in last couple of years so only been a handful of times. I play much better live and have better results, however the people you have to associate with at a poker table are mostly gross and/or extremely annoying. England seems to have a culture of recreational noob players that sit at a table moody as **** trying to come across as cool and above the people they are playing with. Americans on the other hand are really fun to play with, but sadly you have to go to somewhere like Vegas to get that experience.

I pretty much just play cash PLO on stars nowadays.

Haven't played for real money for some time now, not much time now with having a baby around!

UK casinos are so bad compared to the casinos over in Vegas also.
